🔧 Employee Spotlight: Greg Rabey 🎨

This month, we’re proud to spotlight one of the longtime faces behind the quality workmanship at Dale’s Auto Body — Greg Rabey.

Greg has been a dedicated part of the Dale’s Auto Body team for an incredible 38 years, bringing decades of experience, craftsmanship, and pride to his work as one of our skilled painters.

Known for his attention to detail and commitment to quality, Greg takes great pride in making every vehicle look its absolute best. His knowledge, reliability, and strong work ethic have made him not only a valued member of the shop, but an important part of the Dale’s Auto Body family for nearly four decades.

Outside of work, Greg enjoys spending time outdoors hunting with his sons and creating lasting memories with his grandchildren. Family and the outdoors are two of the things he values most.

We’re incredibly grateful for everything Greg brings to the team each and every day and proud to have him as part of the Dale’s Auto Body family. Thank you, Greg, for 38 years of dedication and hard work! 👏

We are incredibly grateful for the warm welcome and support shown during our recent Ribbon Cutting Ceremony celebrating the new ownership of Dale's Auto Body here in Grand Rapids.

As of January 30, 2026, Paul and Anna Grooms officially took ownership of Dale’s Auto Body from Dale and Rebecca Maunu, who faithfully served the community for the past 42 years. We are truly honored to continue the legacy of dependable service and quality workmanship that this business has been known for throughout the years.

While ownership may have changed, one thing has not—the incredible team behind Dale’s Auto Body. Our experienced technicians, painters, and office staff remain the same, and we’re proud to continue serving our community alongside such a talented and dedicated group of people.

A special thank you to the Chamber of Commerce, our family, friends, customers, and community members who came out to celebrate this exciting new chapter with us. Your support means more than you know.

We recently celebrated Dale's Auto Body transition in ownership! As of January 30, 2026, Paul and Anna Grooms have officially acquired the business from Dale and Rebecca Maunu, who proudly operated Dale’s Auto Body for the past 42 years.

The Grooms are honored to continue the long-standing tradition of dependable service and quality auto body repair that the community has come to know and trust. Both born and raised in the Grand Rapids area, Paul previously owned and operated Grooms Property Services/Grooms Dock & Lift for 17 years, while Anna has worked as a registered nurse since 2015 and most recently served as secretary for their business. Together, they have been married for 13 years and are raising their three children locally.

While ownership has changed, the experienced technicians, painters, and office staff remain the same, ensuring customers continue to receive the high-quality service Dale’s Auto Body is known for. The shop continues to offer collision repair, automotive refinishing, frame and unibody repair, and glass repair and replacement services. Paul and Anna are grateful for the community’s support and look forward to serving the area for many years to come.

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Paul Bignall 🌟

Paul Bignall, COO at Dale's Auto Body, has been an integral part of the team for nearly 21 years.

Behind the scenes, Paul plays a key role in keeping everything running smoothly—from writing estimates and working through insurance claims to ordering parts and ensuring each repair stays on track from start to finish. His deep understanding of the process and ability to manage all the moving pieces helps create a seamless experience for customers every day.

Over the years, Paul has built strong relationships with both customers and insurance partners, always focused on getting the job done right. He’s known for his organization, attention to detail, and steady approach—no matter how busy things get.

Outside of work, Paul enjoys life in Grand Rapids with his wife, Sarah, and their two dogs. With their two kids grown, they’re embracing this next chapter—spending time hiking, biking, traveling, and planning their next RV camping adventure.
