💚 THE STORY BEHIND A&B MISHAPS 💚
Have you ever wondered how A&B Mishaps came to be? Here’s a little bit of our story, where we came from, who we are, and what drives us every day.
🚛 OUR BACKSTORY
A&B Mishaps was founded in 2021 by Adam and Brandi Lehman. Originally from International Falls, the Lehman family had called the Grand Rapids area home for about 14 years.
They took their skills, knowledge, and an idea—and turned it into reality.
They researched everything they needed to get started, worked their butts off, and built the company one step at a time. Truck by truck, they purchased equipment, set up their trucks the way they needed them, and began their mission:
To provide affordable towing services, exceptional customer service, and a team that truly cared about the people and communities they served.
And that is exactly what they did. 💚
As time went on, the Lehman's were approaching the empty-nest stage and were ready to move on to their next adventure. But they didn't want to simply hand their company over to just anyone.
They wanted A&B Mishaps to continue with someone who believed in what they had built.
So, they chose to pass the torch to another family.
👨👩👧👦 WHO ARE WE?
Today, A&B Mishaps is locally family owned and operated in Grand Rapids, MN, by Robert Hughes.
Robert has been part of the Grand Rapids community for more than 30 years. Originally from California, Robert spent 30 years as a truck driver, gaining years of experience, knowledge, and a true understanding of the importance of helping people when they need it most.
When Robert heard about the Lehman's idea and the incredible service they had built, he couldn't turn down the opportunity when it was offered.
He truly believes in what Adam and Brandi built and is committed to carrying their mission forward—providing the best service possible while taking care of our customers and our community.
Robert officially purchased A&B Mishaps in June 2024, and on October 1, 2024, A&B Mishaps found its permanent home in Grand Rapids. 🏡🚛
