It appears my last update and posting was in 2016. I apologize for not getting back to a few people who had attempted to contact us.
Moving forward:
Dad has been busy building his latest 56 Chevy. I posted a few photos today and will begin the process of placing the earlier photos (if available) in order into the album.
We have a new client, Ted Calson, who has purchased a 1965 Mustang for dad to begin working on. Ted likes his cars low, black and fast, so moving forward on the Mustang in the months ahead should be exciting. I will be posting a photo album of the progress shortly.
March will be a month of learning, as dad and I perform our first engine swap on a couple of 1966 Covairs... one of which is my daughter Lizzy's. Lizzy's Corvair will also begin to take shape in the months to come.
Lastly, my daughter Victoria will have her Alfa Romeo GTV-6 loaded into dad's trailer in May, while dad and mom are in Denver for her graduation from high school. Tori's Alfa has been an off and on project for quite a few years, but she has finally decided to keep the car and made the commitment to learn to drive.
On that note... I am noticing an alarming trend. Kids who are not interested in driving. I remember my parents taking me to get my permit at 15 years and 9 months. I was so stoked to be able to drive and the 1976 Pontiac Grand Prix that I was allowed to learn with, still holds a warm place in my heart. Maybe if car manufacturers began making cars that kids actually wanted to drive, we wouldn't have this problem. "Gee dad, thanks for giving me the keys to the Prius. You know after giving it some thought... I think I'll just take the bus instead." 😉

Well... 2016 has been a year to remember.

We managed to find a buyer on Craigslist for our 57 hardtop. A very nice gentleman drove from Oklahoma City with a 69 Camaro on a trailer to trade for the Magik blue Chevy (yes Magik is spelled correctly). Another page has turned and the Camaro is now parked in the 57s space.

Onto the Sedan Delivery!... Almost three years after he started welding on a rusted, pathetic example of a 56... Dad finished the delivery. What a beautiful car and just in time for the upcoming car shows.

Now we're off to the races again... this time with Corvairs. Once this dual project kicks off here in May we'll post photos of the two 66 Corsas.

Check out the photos of both the Camaro and the delivery when you get a chance.
