"Its just a Cold air intake, it shouldnt need tuned". Here is an example of a cheap CAI that wasnt designed/developed/tested for a stock calibration.

With the CAI on the factory calibration, the car was VERY lean (40+% total fuel trims in cruise) - 18:1 at WOT -- not good. Getting the air fuel more in line and some cam adjustments netted a ~30+whp/50+ftlb gain in the low rpms (est 50+hp up top - however, wouldnt pull it that far with it being so lean) 91oct should see another little bump as well.
