Recently had an ecoboost customer come in that had repair work previously done for a squealing noise. They replaced one side of exhaust manifold bolts but didn't replace the warped outdated manifold (that is the issue) and didn't bother touching other side that had broken stud as well. They also did not tighten the turbo bolts so the turbo to manifold surface was leaking as well.

He got ahold of us and we got him fixed up with updated ecoboost manifolds that are thicker and have 3 extra mounting holes to keep it from warping and breaking the back problematic bolt again. How it should have been repaired the first time.

Dealership told this customer they needed struts for their clunking noise complaint they had, was going to be around $1400 for new front struts. Came to me for a second opinion quick test drive down the road and heard the noise instantly knew wasn't struts. $60 sway bar links and an hour of time later got their clunking noise fixed.

We had our second "Weenies and Wheels" for the year was nice little turnout going to plan a little further out so give people a little longer notice. It's nice getting people together to hang out talk some car stuff let the kiddos play around blow off some steam and have some hotdogs.

I'll say don't see too many Cummins to work on usually duramax and powerstrokes, but have had a string of Cummins come through and just had this one come in leaking oil from the timing case because the gasket moved out of place come to find out pretty common on these 6.7 trucks. Also got customer set up with 2 new key Fobs so he has spares now even though the dealership said they couldn't help him out.
Got him fixed up just in time for him to road trip to Florida.
