At Al Serra Auto Plaza, we love seeing our team make a difference both in and out of the showroom.
Our Sales Advisor, Stephanie Pearson (CDJR), recently opened her heart and home to a rescue dog named Trapper—and her story is worth sharing.
After attending a Genesee County Animal Care event over a year ago, Stephanie was deeply moved by the stories of shelter animals, especially one dog who had endured unimaginable hardship.
From that moment on, she knew she wanted to give a rescue dog a second chance at a loving home.
The journey wasn’t immediate. It took time, patience, and the right moment.
Then came Trapper.
On a day already filled with deep personal meaning, Stephanie felt a pull to meet him—and instantly knew he was meant to be part of her family.
Though shy at first, Trapper just needed someone to show him that the world could be a safe and loving place.
Now, just days into his new home, Trapper is thriving—full of personality, incredibly smart, and already mastering new tricks (and plenty of snuggles).
We’re proud of Stephanie for making such a meaningful impact and for giving Trapper the life he deserves.
If you’ve ever thought about adopting, consider visiting Genesee County Animal Care —you might meet your perfect match.
