This Memorial Day, take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices of those who have died serving our nation and protecting our freedoms. Reflect on where we would be as a nation if we didn’t have the brave men and women who have stepped forward. Instead of saying “Happy Memorial Day”, say “Have a Grateful Memorial Day”.

Thank you to the men and women whom lost their lives for our nation and freedom, and thank you to the families that had to navigate a life without that loved one.

Can anyone guess what this is?

I'll give you a hint - it blows cold air and hasn't been cleaned in years 😱

AC's should be checked about every six months, depending on use and exposure to elements. It's also the same time smoke detector batteries should be replaced, seals checked, and roofs looked over.

We were honored to be invited to the 100th year celebration of Oakdale! Did you know Oakdale is the oldest RV park in Texas? Did you know they had the largest mineral swimming pool in the US at one time? They are also Bluegrass Capitol of Texas 🎶 Tons of history here and it was a blessing to be here. Here's to another 100 years 🥂 If you haven't stayed here, add it to your list and bring fishing poles as the river is right across the street. 🎣

Our hearts are with everyone affected by the storms tonight. We were in the direct path and had to evacuate ourselves. We are still waiting to hear on Dales dad in Weatherford.

If you have been affected, the first thing to do when able, is take as many pictures as possible, and start writing down anything you have lost and will need covered. If you've had minimal damage and need our help tomorrow, we are here for you (busted vents, skylights, etc.)

Please remember, do not settle with your insurance company until you've had someone write an estimate for you.

Houston, we have a problem 😬.

We were replacing a water heater when we noticed the slide room...

The sealant leaked, causing the slide floor to get wet, which led to swelling, further pulling it away from the sealant, resulting in rot.

It's time to conduct thorough checks around if you haven't already! Sealants, slides, roof, windows, etc.

I'm not sure who was more excited we were there, the pup, or the customer getting a new second AC installed!

We absolutely love when groups call before their arrival, so we can coordinate to get them all fixed up together, to keep them on the road!

Yesterday afternoon and this morning, we spent time with the wonderful Yellow Rose's at Oakdale in Glen Rose. This go-around included a solar fix, two awnings, a stovetop, realign a door, repair a water leak, a fridge consult, and lots of great conversation!

We got them all taken care of, and they were off to enjoy the beautiful day in Glen Rose! 🦕

Rain, rain go away, or stay 🤷‍♀️, because either way we're getting problems washed away today!

Sisters on the Fly is one of our favorite groups, and its always a treat when they come to town. We're honored they have us out to make repairs, and today was no different!

We were contacted by a lady in Tres Rios who had been advised to get in touch with us immediately, regarding her slide room that was not working. She said another RV repair guy had come out, pushed a button, told her he couldn't fix it and to take it to Camping World. Then, he charged her a $100 service fee for pushing a button.

We were able to order and recieve the part, assemble, and install the new slide rack within a few days. We also fixed her awning and range vent! Enjoy the rest of your vacation ma'am!

Side note - This is an example of 30 years experience repairing RV's, versus a six week school that gives you a certificate folks.

It huffed and puffed until the slide topper tore off. Anyone else sick of the wind?? I know we are! Normally we don't do slide toppers in the wind, but we had to make an exception this one time.
