🗑 Trash Tip Tuesday - Give Those Leaves a Second Life! 🗑

Before filling up your trash cart with fall leaves, consider putting them to work in your yard instead. 🍁

Mulch them with your mower, add them to compost, or leave a light layer in garden beds and around trees. It saves valuable space in your trash cart and puts those nutrients back into your yard.

✨ DID YOU KNOW?
Fireflies spend much of their lives out of sight, and leaf litter provides important habitat for firefly larvae—giving them shelter and places to overwinter. So leaving some leaves in garden beds or a less-manicured corner of the yard can help next summer’s lightning bugs!

🗑️ Need to throw them away?
Please bag and tie your leaves before putting them in your cart. That helps keep them from blowing away during collection.

We love a driver shout out! 🎉 Thank you GCA!

What a blessing from an intentional and generous member of our community!
Not only does Adam, with KC Dumpsters, LLC , honk for the kids every time he drives by, but this week he noticed some students out at recess and quickly stopped on his route to gift them with their own KC Dumpster truck...thrilled is an understatement! 😁

Adam is also the supplier of all our Leopard Gecko's dietary needs - crickets and mealworms 😁 Go check them out at God’s Little Creatures Pet Shop! 🦎🐛
