Taking a picture of damage on your car and sending to an insurance company sounds great in theory. The reality is a company writes a 300$ estimate based on your photo and it goes into a shop and they find an immediate supplement needed and that 300 goes to 3000. That translates to a big delay in ordering additional parts. That's fine if you have rental on your policy. If you don't that delay can go from a 2 day repair on the original estimate to a 2 to 3 week delay with additional damage found. Leave it to the professionals. Let a shop or a trained insurance adjuster inspect your car. We may still find additional damage when repairs start but most likely the delays won't be as long as when you try and do it yourself. Just an FYI have a safe great day my peeps
