Attention all Seasonal & Monthly Campers: American Wilderness Campground is one of the few campgrounds in Ohio designated as a Premier Campground, We are a “Good Sam Park.” This means that our standards, our appearance, ambiance and cleanliness is higher than most campgrounds in Ohio and the whole camping industry. Please be advised that if these rules & standards are not met regarding your camper and campsite, alternative actions can be taken by management. So please campers be proud that you are a camper at a prestigious campground and keep your camper and camp site clean.

Friday, August 28 – Hayride at 8:00PM. Meet in front of AWC Game Room!

Saturday, August 29- AWC Camper Cook Off at 6:00PM in Large Pavilion. Make you signature dish to share. One vote per campsite for your favorite. Prize for the Winner!

Reminder: Electric bills went out in mail and are due. Thank you to all campers keeping your campsites clean!

AWC POKER RUN & 50/50 RAFFLE
POKER RUN INSTRUCTIONS

- Poker Run Starts at 7PM.
- The LATE POKER RUN PARTY starts at 9PM in the Large Pavilion to meet host. (Ends by 11pm)
- Stop at the 4 sites listed below (between 7PM and 9PM) in any order to pick up your cards. Each site will issue you one card. All cards will be packaged in envelopes.
- DO NOT OPEN YOUR ENVELOPES OR YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
- Go to the Large Pavilion at 9:00 PM to pick up your last card and pay the $5.00 for your hand to play poker with Host.
- As you pay for your hand, we will verify that your cards are unopened and check your hand. AGAIN, DO NOT OPEN YOUR ENVELOPES!!! YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
- The winner will be announced at 9:30 PM after all cards are checked and reviewed.

Pick up your cards at the following sites (in any order) from 7PM to 9PM
1. Go to camp site #73 Ryan & D**k
2. Go to camp site #68 Chris & Eric
3. Go to camp site #66/67 Eric & Liz
4. Go to camp site #112 Jim & Maureen

50/50 Raffle Instructions
-You can Purchase tickets from any hosting site & host in the Large Pavilion. Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00.
-Don’t lose your tickets!!!
-The winning ticket will be drawn at the same time the winner is announced for the poker run!

TO ALL NEW AND OLD CAMPERS: IF you’re ever interested in hosting a site for a poker run…here’s how it works… you will make a small snack or appetizer to share with the campground and or shot!!! AWC campground will have all the cards in envelopes for you to hand out to anyone who wants to play poker in the poker run. Each envelope comes wrapped and sealed in an envelope, so you can’t see your card. Hosts will host their party at their camp site and hand out cards until 9PM. At 9PM, everyone will go to the Large Pavilion to play the host poker. Cost is at least $5.00 to play. Any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. This is a good way to meet all campers at AWC!
