One problem we’ve been seeing regularly is with the WP Closed Cartridge spring forks. From the factory, many of them come with little to no spring preload, which can lead to the OEM plastic spring seats shattering over time.
When these fail, plastic debris ends up throughout the forks and can cause the forks to lock down similar to a failed air fork setup — definitely not something you want happening during a race or deep out on the trail.
