Industry warning! We are starting to notice a huge parts issue in this industry. In the last six months, we have seen several vehicles needing a particular part that is no longer available (obsolete). Sometimes the aftermarket world will have a replacement IF it is common enough. If not, options get very slim, and in these particlar cases, there is no option.
Dealers are no longer supporting cars for the long haul. If you have been putting off repairing your car later, that crucial part may become obsolete. Two of these cases have rendered the car not reliable enough to drive daily.
I am not a doom and gloom person, but I do like to keep you updated and informed.

We're going under a rare Red flag Warning folks... Watch what you do outside!!! Even tossing a cigarette butt out the window of your vehicle could spark a wild fire, as we've seen happen already in Southwest Louisiana. The Warning will likely be continued thru most of the week. Keep eyes on local homeless encampments as well. NO OUTDOOR Fires people!!!! Period!!!!

Time for a check up!
We receive a lot of requests to check a car out before purchasing it. Likewise, we receive a lot of requests to check out a vehicle before selling it. If you depend on your vehicle to keep up with your busy lifestyle, why not have regular check ups? If the place you get your car serviced is not looking at brakes, belts, hoses, filters, etc..., then a potential breakdown or repair may be just a ticking time bomb.
Having to drop your vehicle off for a few hours is far less inconvenient than being stranded in a parking lot, or on the side of the road.

Unless you are living under a rock, you have noticed that the cost of everything is up. Price shopping is at an all-time high... even internet browsers will help you find the lowest price now! A big majority of our phone calls throughout the day involve phone estimates (price-shoppers). Being money-minded is becoming a necessity in our current climate. In fact, we do the same thing. A very important element in this is quality. We have lots of suppliers we do business with. We are very proactive in making sure the prices stay reasonable and competitive in order to offer a trusted place of business for our customers. We will never sacrifice quality to save a few bucks.
With money getting tight, and supply chain issues ever-growing, we also are getting a lot of repeat stories. One in particular is the hard lesson in "Right the first time". Getting work done because it's cheaper, only to then realize it was not done right, is a bitter sting. Sometimes there are valid explanations, but having to pay a second time to do it right, or pay more because of collateral damage is enough to cause anyone to blow a gasket! Find the right balance of affordable AND quality. We understand this principle and look forward to helping you get that kind of service.
