After working many years for a large auto franchise Steve Matthews decided to open his own dealership. In 1994 he opened Matthews Motors in Clayton, NC with 3 cars and a boat. He has since grown that store to a state of the art 7000 square foot facility and 10 full service bays with a parts department. Matthews Motors is a Christian business that believes in the elementary value that people will respond best to being treated the way that we would want to be treated ourselves. Matthews Motors 2 located in Goldsboro, North Carolina, is a quality used car dealer with over 50 pre owned and used cars, trucks, vans and SUVs and auto loan financing for everyone including military discounts, bad credit and open bankruptcy. Matthews Motors 2 was originally established in 2005 and closed down as the automotive business slowed down in 2009. We have since reopened in July 2012 and hope to serve you, your family and friends. We are happy to help those in the surrounding areas such as Raleigh, Rocky Mount, Mt. Olive, New Bern, Benson and Garner find a new car, truck or SUV at an affordable rate. Awarded the Small Business of the Year, 2010 CIADA Quality Dealer Of The Year, 2011 BBB Torch Award Finalist, 2010 and 2011 Triangle East "Best Dealership", and 2012 TOP 50 Entrepreneur Award Winner. Whether you have good credit, bad credit or no credit, our Finance and Insurance department and our Bankruptcy Team can help you secure a loan for your auto purchase! We understand that bad things can happen to good people so we have access to over 20 lending institutions and 75 Bankruptcy lawyers to help get you approved for a loan to meet your needs.
