A little update for you guys from Nc Auto and Diesel. We had another Cummins come through the shop with a cracked head. Unfortunately this is a common problem with these motors but we got the customer rolling again. Our high performance side is booming as always. Lately we’ve had a lot of small block Fords come through as well as some more work on the ZL1. We also want to remind everyone to keep up on your regular maintenance as much as you can because if not, you can end up spending way more on a catastrophic failure like these customers did with their brakes. It’s been an exciting few weeks here at NC Auto and Diesel. We had the privilege of working a custom built 2007 Tahoe that was put together for the SEMA show in Las Vegas, NV back in 2016. This truck was beautiful and we loved every moment it spent here. The diesel side has been wide open as well, with everything from transmission and engine replacements, to fuel system repairs. Busy week here at NC Automotive and Diesel. A customer had a head gasket replaced 6 months ago and brand new timing chain and components installed. Although uncommon, the brand new chain failed due to a part failure and caused catastrophic damage to the engine. The customer left this week with a new engine, no questions asked. Here at Nc Auto and Diesel, all of our work comes with a 2 year 20,000 mile warranty on labor and parts as long as we provide them, giving you a little peace of mind when you choose us for your automotive repair needs. Just a few of the projects we have going on here at NC Auto and Diesel this week. Diesel side is busy as always and our performance shop is busy with this 2013 ZL1 build with 13,000 original miles getting a 427 dart block and some more goodies, as well as a couple SS Camaros with some upgrades and tuning. We’re finishing up a full rebuild on this 6.0 Yukon with a cam upgrade and the signature Chevy racing orange block. NC Auto and Diesel is now offering LS performance packages ranging from long tubes and an intake, to full engine breakdowns with upgraded internals including various camshaft options, oil pumps, valve springs, and CNC machining. Each package comes with a pre-upgrade dyno pull, and a post upgrade dyno pull with paperwork showing horsepower gains down to the exact number.
