The move is finally complete. I'm working on getting caught up on all the messages. Thank you all for your patience. I will get all the scheduling done very soon. There is still lots of work organizing the new place. I'm still waiting on the lifts to be installed but I am taking work. The phone number is the same. Here is a nice tribute to the old building. (Some if the history reported isn't quite right, but we were kind of rushed to the publication deadline)

On a cold, dreary day that matched Clint Raymond’s mood, he and his wife Lynette lowered the iconic “Morrison Carworks” sign from atop 319 Bear Creek Ave. The task signaled the end of an era for both Raymond — who ran the shop for 30 years — and Morrison. Property owner Jeff Bradley plans ...

Heads up everybody. I have good news. We have secured a new location to keep the business going. I'm really excited about this as it is mostly positive. The new facility will be freshly remodeled and should be easier and faster for me to work out of.

I should be closer to my parts suppliers which should bring down my delivery times. there is not a lot of parking at the new place and so things will need to be picked up very soon after completion but on the other hand a lot of smaller repairs and services can be done while you wait.

I wanted to stay as close as I could to the original shop and the new place is 7.5 miles away from it. I will be just west of the Jeffco fairgrounds and if all goes as I have planned I will be re-opening in April. I am keeping the same number and am not changing the name of the business. hope to see you in my new digs.

On this day 30 years ago, I opened the doors to this old shop and have tried to offer a fair service for my customers. Sadly, I have to announce that the shop will be closing. I am no longer taking any appointments and will finish the existing appointments and projects that are here. I'm not 100% certain what will happen after that but I will keep people informed here and on my personal page. Thank you to all my customers for their patronage over the years.

Letters like these make it all worth it. These young ladies and gentlemen work hard all year trying to bring a top notch product to the county fair. All while the county pushes back and only makes it harder on them. Jefferson County has been this way for decades and it seems they are trying to steamroll the 4H program under once and for all. To Jeffco residents please take time out and demand the county support the 4H kids not try to push them out. And please share this post as well since FB wants me to pay to have this page's post seen.

Just an FYI. The town has now made all street/public parking spaces paid parking. You get the first 30 minutes free, but you must register your license plate number at the time of parking.

Friends I hope this message finds you and yours well. Things have been weird for sure, but everyone needs to be careful since there are many out there that, now mare than usual, want to take advantage of you. Case in point. A customer of mine went to the local dealer for one of his "free' oil changes he got with the purchase of his vehicle. Within seconds of him sitting down in the waiting room he was approached by the service writer with a print out of all the items they "inspected" and items that were needed for the proper operation of his vehicle. The first item was his need of an alignment, they also stated he needed a new battery immediately, an engine air filter and a cabin filter. We inspected the items to find the following, The tires show no abnormal wear or driving concerns, The battery tests fine and was replaced 3.5 months and 1100 miles ago, the cabin filter had minimal debris but I'll let them have that one. and you can see the condition of the engine air filter. Don't be taken advantage of.

Today it has come to my attention that our phone number is being 'spoofed' on caller id for a scam. The caller had a heavy foreign accent and stated he was calling from AT&T. Please be assured we will not call you unsolicited to try to sell any product or service.

Special thanks to Sgt. Leo for the great photo of the shop during one of Morrison's many floods.
