After a fractured femur sidelined him for six weeks, longtime racer and writer Lee Waldman reflects on what keeps him coming back to the start line, even when his body says otherwise.
It’s not the podiums or the medals that drive him. It’s the rhythm, the flow, the “dance” of finding smoother lines and sharper turns every time he gets on the bike.
“It’s not the winning... It’s the challenge to be better, smoother, more graceful than the last.”
Now finally cleared to ride again, Lee’s gearing up for his return, proving that passion, not age, is what keeps us rolling.
