HABITUAL OFFENDER ARRESTED FOLLOWING MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH

On Saturday, November 18th 2023 at approximately 11:50 P.M., Sergeant Brian Tyler and Officer Daniel Philbrook were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash in the area of 83 Twist Hill Road.

Upon arriving on scene, officers discovered a single vehicle into a tree with airbag deployment. Contact was made with Dana Frauton, 32, of Manchester, who claimed that he was a passenger in the vehicle and that the operator fled the scene on foot. Officers from the Bow and Goffstown Police Departments checked the area and were unable to locate anyone.

Officers furthered their investigation and were able to determine that Mr. Frauton was in fact operating the vehicle at the time of the crash. Mr. Frauton was subsequently taken into custody and is charged with:

Operating While Certified a Habitual Offender (Felony)

Driving After Revocation/Suspension - DWI Conviction (2nd Offense)

Alcohol Ignition Interlock Circumvention

Driving After Revocation/Suspension - Subsequent Offense

Driving Without Giving Proof

False Reporting of Accidents

Mr. Frauton, who was also on parole for a felony drug conviction, was remanded to the custody of the Merrimack County House of Corrections pending a court appearance.
