One of the greatest things about this industry is that we don’t have to figure it all out alone.

Today, Top Notch Auto had the privilege of hosting an ACDelco ADAS training class, bringing together technicians from several local repair shops who all share the same goal—providing better service, safer repairs, and more accurate diagnostics for our customers.

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) are becoming more complex every year. Proper training and collaboration are critical to ensuring these safety systems are repaired and calibrated correctly after service or collision repairs.

We’re proud to network with other shops that believe in investing in their people instead of settling for “good enough.” When independent repair facilities work together, share knowledge, and continue learning, our entire community benefits.

We recently had a customer come in concerned about poor A/C performance. After a little testing, we discovered the real problem wasn’t low refrigerant—it was an extremely dirty evaporator core caused by a neglected cabin air filter.

Over time, dirt, dust, pollen, and debris build up on the evaporator. Since it’s buried deep inside the HVAC case, it’s nearly impossible to clean by hand.
