I'm not a braggart, but Im very proud of this little motor. This is a 78mm Wossner Piston (300cc) ported stock valve size, 245-.382" intake 239-.372" exhaust camshafts, Kibblewhite springs, 41mm throttle body, homemade intake with a big K&N, BFT exhaust pipe (quiet muffler with db killer out) 93 pump that has been in it for at least a week, stock gearing 520 o-ring chain, 17" CB300R wheels etc....I literally rode it probably close to 300 miles last weekend in the mountains as it sits..... to put this into perspective this thing makes 2.044 hp per cubic inch, my 410 made 1.91hp per cubic inch (of course the 410 made more after some tuning and better fuel, but this was an initial base pull comparison, the 410 makes a ton more torque) Who says you need a big motor! with some tuning and fuel, this is an easy 38hp motor.

I get asked why don’t I build “race” heads or why don’t I build bigger heads, I can certainly do that if that’s what the customer wants, and truthfully it’s a whole lot EASIER and LESS time consuming, than trying to port around a guide. But keep in mind, cost is almost doubled, I won’t do one just by grinding the stock guides down, it will get full length bronze guides, then it will require a multi angle intake seat and a radius exhaust, if you want big valves double the price again due to valve cost ( not gonna use cheap valves) and MoldStar seats.
