Lately, I’ve been struck by how many people, like myself, have intentionally chosen to come home to the Minnewaska area.

They left for college, careers, or new adventures, but at some point decided this was where they wanted to build their life, raise a family, start a business, or put down roots. I think these “come home” stories are one of the quiet success stories of our community.

So I’m curious:

Made by Minnewaska is a free youth market and vendor event giving local entrepreneurs 18 and under the opportunity to showcase their ideas, sell their products, and gain real-world business experience.

Way to go Pope County Farm Bureau holding another incredibly successful Breakfast on the Farm event!

Thank you to Reichmann Land and Cattle for hosting and for educating the greater community about the complexities of successful ag operations! We are incredibly fortunate to have many multi-generational families who not only contribute to the local economy through their successful business operations, but also choose to give back and invest in the community in countless ways! This morning was another reminder of all of the people who come together to make great things happen here!
