Reductant system issue! The aftertreatment system on late model diesels can be very problematic, especially when considering many of these vehicles are used commercially. Downtime equals dollars lost and keeping them on the road is critical for any company or business. This system is probably the most complex and least familiar encounter for technicians. Misdiagnosis is common and shops throwing parts at them is too. Here at our shop, we spend a ton of time learning and understanding all vehicle systems to enable accurate diagnostics, streamlined repairs and economical resolutions for our customers. This truck got a dosing sensor replacement and a stationary desoot and it’s back out on the road where it belongs! Wolfgang!

🚨 Reason #1 to Change Your Engine Air Filter & Use OEM Filters 🚨

Take a look at this filter. Not only is it completely packed with dirt, leaves, and debris, but the filter media itself has collapsed and was being sucked through the air box. That means unfiltered air can bypass the filter and make its way directly into your engine.

Why does this matter?

🔧 Dirt and debris entering the engine can cause premature wear on internal engine components.

🔧 Airflow restrictions can reduce fuel economy, performance, and throttle response.

🔧 A collapsed filter can trigger check engine lights, drivability concerns, and costly repairs.

🔧 Not all aftermarket filters are created equal. We’ve seen cheaper filters lose their structural integrity long before they’re due for replacement.

That’s why we recommend OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) filters whenever possible. They’re designed specifically for your vehicle’s air box, airflow requirements, and service life.

A $20-$40 filter is a lot cheaper than an engine repair.
