Looks like we get a few nice days for the long weekend! Get some time outside and enjoy the fall changes, water is still warm if you want to hang at the beach and take a dip. (I would, if it’s not windy 🧜🏼‍♀️) we are open 12-6 Thursday to Monday, weather permitting. Bryan will be there or available by text at 516-759-4416. Website has been improved and you can do payment and waiver ahead of time, if you wish. Enjoy your weekend!

Yesterday at work a few of us got to enjoy a nice warm day. Some of my regulars were out (see the goofballs on SUPs) and a gearhead kayaker who got some great video. I thought my day was going to end early so I went for a boat swim and got to take pictures of my customers. Got a call for a rental while I was out, and did not want to say no to someone who wanted to go kayaking. I was able to figure it out on the fly: she did all the paperwork online and my regular customers were returning from their paddle helped her get on the water. A good and safe time had by all!

This Saturday 9-26 join for all or part of the FUN.
Dolly Parton tribute paddle is at 1:30pm, wear your costume and paddle to Sea Cliff beach with our group.
Bad weather?? You don’t have to paddle, just come to Laura’s BBQ restaurant for the fun starting at 3:30, we will have Dolly drink specials, country dance lessons, and a costume contest.
AND there are fireworks that night, visible from Tappen Beach, we will have a guided viewing group going out about 7pm.

Please call or text to let us know if you’re coming for the paddle, the after party at Laura’s BBQ or the guided fireworks paddle at 7pm.
There will be a DOLLY 🍺🍹🍷🍸 and 🤠 Wear your and learn to or line dance!

Rainy Sunday delivery of 8 kayaks to accompany the swimmers for the 🏊🏼‍♂️🏊‍♀️It’s a fine day for swimming, water temperature is probably warmer than air temp and it’s just a cute late summer rain 🌧️ today.

is a great event, hopefully you can make it to the clean up at one of our area beaches this Saturday. AND, you can pick up litter from our rental kayaks and paddleboards anytime, bring back some trash and get an ice pop or another treat!

Looking forward to beautiful weather all weekend and beyond! Summer is still happening Shore Thing Rentals until mid October, we are open 10-6 every day this weekend and on MONDAY. Then hours are by appointment MTW and Thursday to Sundays noon to sunset. We still have a couple of special events you’ll want to attend: Sound Bath on the 17th and a special costume paddle on the 26th. Enjoy your holiday weekend like it’s 🏖️🧜🏼‍♀️🚣🏽
