First I wanna say congratulations on your brand new truck! What a sweet ride! I’m honored you trusted me and asked me to give it the love and fix it the way It needed fixed! I wish I would’ve took before pictures! You shouldn’t have to feel disappointed in a purchase because it wasn’t cleaned properly.
But I myself is so disappointed and am in complete disbelief on how the dealership gave you this truck, Shame on them and all they could say was our “detail team sucks and are not professionals” “it’s a black vehicle it’s not gonna be perfect” and “we could sit here and nit pick about what was done wrong all day so imma head inside”… seriously??
What’s even more disappointing is hearing someone speak about their team that way. A good leader takes ownership, supports their employees, and works to correct the problem… not throw them under the bus. That’s not leadership, and it’s certainly not what I’d call a team.
Water spots, marker writing still on the windows, adhesive left on the paint, dirty wheel wells and wheels, door jambs dirty, interior scuffs, and other overlooked areas should never be acceptable on a brand new vehicle…
