Recently we had a long-time employee retire. Craig Whiting has worked here in our Parts Department for over 30 years.
Friday December 12th was his last day. We had a wonderful lunch catered by Busters BBQ. Then there was an afterwork party at the Arlington Taphouse. The day was perfect. It is definitely evident how much Craig is loved with all the people that showed up to wish him a happy retirement. We shared a lot of stories and many laughs.
Craig’s career has been a story of dedication, integrity, dependability, and kindness.
He has given so much of his time, energy, and heart to Armstrong VW, and it shows in the way he has touched so many lives here.
He’s inspired us with his work ethic, but even more with his generosity of spirit.
On behalf of everyone here, thank you for all the contributions, the hard work, the wisdom, and the friendship over the years.
You leave behind not just a legacy of work well done, but a community that is better because you were part of it.
Congratulations, Craig! May your retirement be filled with health, happiness, and endless adventures.
