We are humbled by the love, support and friendship given to us Saturday at our Celebration of the life of David Drake. Many were his customers, David traveled miles to meet their tire needs. His customers became friends, all over the state. Others were childhood friends and grown up friends, relatives and their families and friends. Overwhelming to see those faces who loved and respected David.
Thank you everyone, whether you brought food, flowers, ran errands and other acts of kindness. If you called or texted and we missed your call? Please understand, our phones were on overtime.
Bob Anderson from Davis Anderson. Your job can’t be an easy one. Bob, thank you for your kindness, direction and assistance.
The Iron Sleds, thank you for everything you have done for David and his family and for your kindness to his Grandpa Dave and Grandma Sharlynn.
Ross Owens, thank you! We can’t tell you enough how much we love you. Your talent and time to design David’s Box, the slide show and his song is amazing.
Colten Cottle, you are a sweetheart. For all the times you stepped in with your support, playing trucks and race cars with Silas at the funeral home to anticipating what we might need, and getting it done. We love you!
Our employees at D& D, thank you for keeping things going in the shop in spite of the blistering heat. You make a great team. Quentin, our hearts go out to you. You worked closely with David.
We are thankful for everyone who provided food at the KC Hall and our homes. From the Iron Sleds, First Christian Church in Girard, friends and neighbors, Thank You!
To those of you who left with out signing in. We may never know your name, but we felt your presence —thank you. David loved deeply, found joy in his family and worked hard. The Drakes
