It has been a LONG summer and we have not posted in a while. Things have changed at 2 Guyes, New faces, New policies, and we are getting back to what was successful in the beginning. Great customer service followed up with quality work. Swing by and meet Phil the new shop Forman. He has gutted the entire building, cleaned every corner, reorganized, and prepped us for a great season. The shop is filling up with great projects and we are currently booked for the next 2 weeks. PS…. Yes those are fairings off of an original 1990 NSR 250 being restored in house….

New customer brings in a bike with a no start issue. Another shop in town told them $1800 to replace the charging system and problem will be solved. Although there diagnosis of charging issues was correct they provided no hard numbers or tests showing it needed a full overhaul. Within 1 hour we found the stator wires were severed causing the charging issue. Regulator tested perfect, stator tested perfect, repaired the wires and walla charging issue fixed. Bike starts every time.

We at 2 Guyes are not parts replacers we are technicians that provide hard factual numbers for the failed part. Rule in house is “broken part in hand” before advising of repair. If something feels wrong elsewhere give us a call for a second opinion. We will not “sell” you on anything. We will advise you on damage and recommend best option for repair.

We officially start our new hours today. We are now open Tuesday- Friday from 9-5 and Saturday from 9-3. Please contact us if you need to drop off or pick up after hours as we can make arrangements for that.

Thank you for your continued support, small business has been a real struggle the last couple years. We are here working to improve everyday and provide quality service at a fair price.

Thank you to all that reached out and sent thought Nate’s way. He has been out of surgery for 2 days and starting to recover. Yesterday he was up and walking for the first time. Let’s go Nate. Heal up and get back to doing what you love.

We need some thoughts and prayers Family. Nate (one of our technicians) was in a hit and run last night. He is currently sedated in the trauma unit with multiple fractures, and lots of road rash.

Nate is a hard working technician who is loyal, smart, and has a great attitude. He has a long road ahead but he is strong so I have no doubt he will bounce back. Let’s all do what we can to will him back to good health.

Nate is part of our crew and his job will wait for him. That being said if you know someone looking for a job in this industry please send them my way. We are hiring.

Get some rest Nate and come back to us when you can.

Hello 2 Guyes Family..

The heat is going to let off soon (I hope) and we are preparing for the season to begin. As the world is forever changing so are we.

Starting August 8th (next week) we will be changing our hours to Tuesday- Friday 9-5 and Saturday 9-3. We are working on after hours pick up and drop off solutions so stay tuned.

Labor rates will be changing as of September 1st. Take advantage of the lower rates for the rest of August and get your bike in here.

For those that know me know I love the strange odd jobs that other shops run from. This has bit me a time or two in the past but most of the time I love learning new machines and how things work. This is one of the more strange products called a “Quadski” from New Zealand. Amazing company and a cool quad/ jet ski….

The world is getting more expensive for all of us. My land lord has raised our rent by more than 34% which is a larger jump than the last 9 years combined. Include the higher cost of labor, parts, and gas I have no choice but to raise our labor rate. I am sorry to all our amazing customers however I have to raise my rates starting July 1st. This unfortunately does not net me, my employees, or the shop any extra money In fact I will be making a little less if all stays equal. I thank you for your understanding and let’s have an amazing year together.
