Round 1 SKUSA Winter Series: What can I say….highs and lows of racing or maybe I should say lows and highs of racing. Qually went really well. We Qualified 8th….we were so excited because we normally Qualify poorly but this time we landed 8th. Unfortunately, we were taken out in a wreck in turn 1 at the start for the Pre Final. Conner fought but was so far behind. He did his best, but after penalties we landed 25th out of 37 drivers.
So we started the Final in 25th….we avoided the chaos in turn 1 this time and he fought his way through the field to finish 8th. After penalties were handed out, we finished the day in 6th! 17 places before penalties….amazing job kid! We have things we can work on, but we are so proud of him!!! We also have to congratulate our friend for an epic move and ending in 2nd!!
