The first Vivid Racing event in years and Pocono Raceway was the right place to get back on the horse.
Nothing replaces standing in a paddock all day, talking to people who build their cars for real instead of for a feed. We forgot how much we missed it. We are not waiting this long again.

Seventy-three years, eight generations, one nameplate that never got handed off to a badge engineer.

The C1 showed up in 1953 with a straight six and a two-speed automatic, which is a hilarious way to start a legacy. The C2 answered with independent rear suspension and the split window. The C3 walked straight into the malaise era, got choked down to 165 horsepower, and survived on shape alone. The C4 dragged the whole platform into real chassis engineering.

The C5 gave it a hydroformed frame and a rear transaxle, and that's still why a clean C5 Z06 embarrasses cars costing three times as much. C6 brought the LS7. C7 closed out the front-engine era without apologizing for anything. Then the C8 moved the motor behind the driver and put a flat-plane 5.5 making 670 naturally aspirated in the Z06.

Every one of them was the best America could build at the time.

MPACT, you set the bar. 🏆

The Poconos were LOADED this weekend! Builds that made us stop mid-conversation to stare, and a crowd that made it even better. Got to nerd out with fellow vendors, swap notes, and talk shop with some of the most genuine fans in the game.

Massive thank you to Jaycent and the MPACT Motorsports Festival team for having us. This one’s going in the books.

Oh yeah, and it was fun to see some of our VR Forged out in the wild.
