The campground was built for RVers by RVers and it shows: You'll find roomy full-hookup sites throughout the park - all big rig friendly! Relax by the heated pool, enjoy the outdoor fireplace on the 2,500-square-foot veranda or just soak up the desert views and dark evening skies from your site. Fido will love the 4,000-

square-foot Canine Corral with three separate corrals (two with grassy areas). Explore nearby historic sites or the many trails in the desert. FITNESS ANYONE ?
A guest inquired about the closet fitness center with a treadmill, so with a little investigating, here is what I found out.
SENIOR CENTER has 2 treadmills and an elliptical machine. They are open 8am-4pm. They have a low impact exercise program at 10am for about 45 minutes, so they would not be available at that time.
KISER (PALOMA) ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, about 14 miles west on Interstate 8, has a FITNESS ROOM open to the Public 24 Hours! You'll need to register and pay a refundable $25 deposit for the key fob, then $10 per month. When the school is open, there is a restroom available, but after hours there is not one available, so plan accordingly 😉.

On October 1, 2025, Sonoran Desert RV Park will become an Adult 55+ RV Park. We realize this may be some bad news for some, but have decided to focus to our target demographics which is retired seniors. We are allowed a certain percentage of our park to have a secondary age, and that has yet to be determined. For more information, please send an email to us at [email protected]. We can also recommend other All Age RV Parks in the area.
