⚠️Since we seem to be prepping for a lovely winter storm, let’s talk about essentials you need in/for your ride!⚠️

1. Jumper cables - cold weather can be hard on older batteries (and new ones if it’s cold enough), make sure you have access to a jump if you need it!

2. Blankets, gloves and hats - have more than one warm blanket, a pair of gloves and a beanie with you in case you get stranded for an extended period of time (if you have children, make sure each child has one of each)

3. Drinks/Snacks - in the event you get stranded, make sure you have some sort of protein and water

4. A full tank of gas or diesel - please fill up before the weather hits; we don’t want you to run out of gas in severe cold weather!

5. Ensure all your vehicles lights work - if you have to pull over, all your lights need to be in working order to let others know to avoid you!

6. Emergency Kit - an emergency kit specifically designed for your car will provide you with most of the essentials you may need in case you break down (things like jumper cables, emergency blanket, gloves, etc) here is a link from Amazon, find something similar: https://a.co/d/1wBNUBJ

7. Check tire pressures - low tires can cause issues and so can overfilled tires. Make sure they are at the recommended psi for the vehicle!

Please remember, cold weather can be hard on you and your vehicle, please don’t leave your house unless absolutely necessary!
