Come out to the truck and tractor pull Saturday, May 30th!
In the spring of 1976, members of the Georgetown Optimist Club stood before the Scott County Fiscal Court with a simple vision — build a truck & tractor pulling track for the community at no cost to the county.
Soon after, volunteers, local contractors, and community members came together to make it happen, donating countless hours of labor and equipment to bring the facility to life. According to the original writings from that time, the lights were finished just one day before the very first pull.
What started as a local project quickly became a gathering place for pullers, fans, and families from across Kentucky and beyond.
For 50 years, the Georgetown track has hosted unforgettable nights of horsepower, hometown pride, and traditions passed from one generation to the next.
From to***co farmers wrenching on tractors after a long day’s work… to today’s coal-rolling, wheel-standing, dirt slingin’ machines… the spirit of truck and tractor pulling has remained alive in Georgetown through the people who built it.
