Central KY Driving School

08/17/2026

We had hoped to accommodate more of our waitlist before making this planned announcement: Central KY Driving School will officially close operations on October 31, 2026.

After years of continued growth, incredible students, and reaching milestones beyond my original goals, I have decided to wrap up this chapter on a high note. As the owner, I am retiring to shift gears, focus on personal projects, and enjoy a part-time lifestyle.

I’m super proud of everything we’ve accomplished and deeply grateful to everyone who supported this journey. Between now and October 31st, it’s business as usual! We are committed to completing all scheduled lessons and serving our current students with the same high standards you’ve always known. After School Lessons and day-time lessons are full. If you only require a single lesson for Preparing for the Road Test, we may be able to accommodate you on our cancellation list.

Parents, thank you for trusting us with your students! We do not take that lightly. Adult students, thank you for trusting us on such a vulnerable journey! We are thankful to have known each and every one of you! – Amber Wedding, Owner/Instructor

Stay tuned for updates as we celebrate these final months of our journey.

A HUGE thanks to Chris Hall and the guys at Pure Heating and Air for helping push one of our training cars that was iced into its parking spot. We are not training today but we are clearing off cars while it’s possible. They were the heroes that showed up. Thanks again!!
