Dave Matthews at The Gorge Amphitheatre
Friday, September 4th - Sunday, September 6th
Parking opens: 1:00 PM
Doors open: 3:30 PM
Music starts: 5:00 PM
The Gorge Campground opens Thursday, September 3 at 12:00 PM. The campground will remain open 24 hours until the event ends.
One thing most people don't know: You CAN bring food inside the venue. It DOESN'T have to be sealed but it does have to be inside of a sealed gallon ziplock bag
One question we've received quite a bit:
BICYCLES: YES. Final word was that bicycles are allowed in the campground.
A couple of other camping notes: ticks have been sighted locally, including a recent sighting in the campground, so checking yourself each day is a good idea.
TRAFFIC & THE VANTAGE BRIDGE
Good news for DMB weekend: WSDOT will have all lanes of the I-90 Vantage Bridge open September 4–8.
That does NOT mean there won't be traffic.
DMB weekend is one of the busiest weekends of the year in George. If you can arrive early, do it. Getting here around the time camping or parking opens is much better than trying to arrive shortly before the show.

FIRST LIVE TRAFFIC DRONE BROADCAST
We’re also trying something new this weekend.
On Thursday, September 3 at 1:00 PM, we will be doing our first LIVE traffic update using our drone here in George and broadcasting it to our YouTube channel.
Our goal is to give everyone traveling to The Gorge a real look at traffic conditions around George, Silica Road and the surrounding area before the weekend gets underway.
If it works well, this is something we'd like to continue doing for future Gorge events.
A FEW THINGS WE REALLY RECOMMEND
Arrive early. Once traffic backs up around George and Silica Road, there aren't many good ways around it.
If you still need parking or transportation, make those arrangements now rather than waiting until the day of the show.
Hydrate before you arrive and continue drinking water throughout the day.
Outside lawn chairs are NOT permitted inside the venue. If you want a chair on the lawn, plan on renting one.
