Raccoon Run Canoe and Kayak Rental Keeping the River Grand since 1973! Come join us this summer for our 45th season paddling Northeast we do our best to provide you with an enjoyable canoe trip.

Our customers are provided with the best in canoe equipment and services. We are paddlers and know the importance of service to both individuals and group rental customers. We take the time to make sure we understand not only your canoeing need, but also your abilities. Raccoon Run utilizes Old Town Canoes and Ocean Kayaks on the Scenic and Wild sections of the Grand River in Lake and Ashtabula Co

unties of Northeastern Ohio. The Grand River has one of the highest water qualities of any river in the state. Its boasts over different species of fish inits waters including the giant muskie . On your trip down the river you will be watched by fox, mink, beaver, otter, deer, osprey, blue heron, owls and even an occasional bald eagle. The upper stretches offer a gently flowing river through wooded acres and farmland. The lower stretches offer faster water, spectacular high cliffs, and wooded river front. The Metro Parks systems of Lake and Ashtabula counties help keep the river and its banks in its original wilderness environment. Enjoy a day of paddling on one of this state's first highway systems. Go back in time, when the Grand River provided one of the most scenic trips in the state for wilderness explorers.
