Heavy Duty Wrecker Driver Needed
Our company is looking for a motivated driver. Must have a valid Class A CDL, able to drive a truck with a standard transmission and have Air Brake Endorsement. Candidate should be willing and able to learn. A mechanical background is helpful. The primary duties will revolve around disabled motorists with services such as towing and roadside assistance. This job requires operating and driving both the heavy trucks and the rollback trucks. Our ideal candidate will have good customer service skills, attention to detail and can manage their time well while on the road and in the shop.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Respond to accidents, break-downs, and other roadside incidents
Safely load and haul customer's vehicles
Must have own transportation and cell phone
Keep your truck clean and in good condition ready to go
Basic shop cleaning and light maintenance
Customer service.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Class A CDL with air brake and manual transmission endorsement.
Strong communication and time management skills
Basic mechanical skills
Attention to detail when documenting work
Must have good driving record and a valid medical card
Must live within 8 miles of Ga***rd due to police response times
Must be able to pass a DOT Drug test
Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
Must be 23 years old or older
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: Hourly plus commissions
