I quickly realized the need for a high end automotive shop. There are beautiful cars scattered all over the Northern Michigan region and other than car shows, very little things to do with them. I quickly worked towards star

ting the shop, Northern Performance Cars. My love for automobiles has always been speed and looks. So once we nailed down the performance market we extended our hand into making them look as good as they run. I sprinkle in a little OCD with my ADHD and man can I shine a car up! I spent approx 4 years improving and getting better. Finally feeling confident in 2022 we launched Northern Performance Shine! I couldn't be any happier with how things have turned out! I appreciate each and every one of you! I hope to earn more trust with clients for years to come and take care of your vehicles!

A year ago today this wonderful soul started here and I have to say not a day goes by that I am not glad that he did!
Thanks for everything you do for all of us here Chris! You are a rockstar!
Chris made the transition easy as his experience was already great but watching him progress and find ways to fix issues that he hasn’t ran across before has been awesome to watch!

We are glad photos didn’t leak because this one was pretty special.
So as many of you know Chris took over the paint correction a year ago next week!
Well, 9 years ago in August I did some work for his dad on this c6 corvette.
Since Chris started we have tried to get him to bring it in for the treatment and as with most people life is just busy and most people thing good enough is just that. And there’s nothing wrong with that. But around here, good enough is not in our vocabulary.
Last week we lucked out. Chris’s dad(Dave) went on vacation. It was the perfect time for Chris to organize and steal his car for the week. Every night after work and over the weekend Chris plugged away at it to perfect it and get every blemish possible out of it. Then to top it with Gtechniq North America Ultra ceramic coating. It was the cherry on top.
Dave arrived him late last night and Today Chris was able to convince him to come to the shop to help him with something. Only to surprise his dad before he caught on and noticed the car was missing hahaha
I love it!!!!

Chris has his work cut out on this one. But here we go! Time to SHINE baby!!!!
