Good news! The forecast continues to trend in the right direction as we get closer to race day.

🌦️ 39% chance of showers and scattered thunderstorms
💨 SW winds 5–10 mph

While there is still a chance of scattered afternoon storms, the latest forecast is continuing to improve, and we’re encouraged by the trend.

✅ The race is ON as scheduled!

We’ll continue monitoring conditions overnight and tomorrow morning, but as of now we’re looking forward to a great day of racing on the new layout.

We managed to get 1 round in and then mother nature decided that was it. We will try again on Sept 12. Hopefully the weather will cooperate then.

I want to encourage anyone who is planning on making the trip out tomorrow to please check the updated weather in the morning and then make your decision on that. Right now its a 50/50 shot according to the weather channel. Biggest threat looks to be pop ups due to the humidity. Its just tuff to make the call especially when it seems like we are in a weather pattern of rain every friday/Saturday here lately.

Alright everyone, we're just 2 days away from Round 2 of the AROC Series!
We've officially finished resurfacing the track, and it's looking great as we get everything ready for this weekend's racing.
Be sure to keep an eye on our page for updates as we continue to monitor the weather. The good news is that the chances of rain for both Friday and Saturday have dropped some and we're hoping that trend continues.
We're looking forward to seeing everyone at Accel RC for another great weekend of racing. Let's go!
