I was a little leary of this exhaust kit when I bought it, but luckily it was really nice quality and went on great. The factory converters were plugged up and this kit is just what this Ford mail vehicle needed to get back out there and deliver the mail!

Been so busy the past few weeks I haven't had much time to post! Here's a ford ranger that came in with a clacking noise in the front of the engine. Turns out the timing chain guide was broken. In with the new parts and it'll be back on the road!

Here's a job I don't get to do all the time. This Toyota Tacoma came in for a clutch replacement. When I got the tr**ny out, I noticed a lot of input shaft play.

I called the customer to discuss our options. They okayed a transmission teardown with new bearings and seals. I got the parts ordered and installed.

While I was in there, I also replaced the engine rear main seal, new fluids for the transmission and transfer case, and checked all the U joints for play or binding. Everything else checked out ok.

This 2018 Ford escape came to me for a second opinion/price comparison for a loud noise. They were told it was the water pump bad and it would be $2000 to fix it. I pulled out my stethoscope and gave it a listen.

It had a very loud noise from the bearings in the alternator. I removed the worn serpentine belt and found the alternator almost locked up.

Called the customer with the good news, a new alternator replacement is less than half the quoted price of the water pump. I suggested a new serpentine belt as well. Customer approved, and I got them back on the road.

This car was originally here for an oil change. Part of every oil change here is a complete vehicle systems inspection.

During the inspection I noticed the front brakes were very low and close to damaging the rotor. I also found the serpentine belt cracking and needing replaced.

A quick call to the customer and they approved these repairs. You can rest assured that whatever the job may be, I've got you and your vehicles best interest in mind, and with that also your safety and the safety of anyone else in your vehicle.

It seems like it's been 2 weeks of nothing but starters here! This heat isn't just hard on people! It's also hard on your vehicles! This one is the 2nd one this week, and there is another on the way that could be as well. When it gets here it will get the standard treatment, battery and electrical check, systems check, and after a thorough diagnosis, I'll know for sure what the issue is! One of today's jobs: updating the oil filter housing/cooler on the Town and Country. The OEM design is plastic, and of course heat is bad for it. The new updated design is all aluminum and far superior to the OEM. Give me a shout for any and all vehicle issues!
