The Red Bull Barn Find was one of my favorite days at the track.
It was an absolute pleasure working with everyone at Red Bull and Carson Brown to bring this event together. The weather challenged us a bit to start the weekend, but Saturday turned out to be an absolute dream.
A laid-back event, legend Kevin Kelly Kevin, John, & Nick on the mic, local hero JB10 Justin Brayton in the house, an amazing track, and smiles everywhere you looked. It was a good reminder of WHY we do what we do here at Oak Ridge.
It’s not always the 700-entry races that fill your soul. Sometimes, it’s events like this.
People digging old bikes out of the garage. Cleaning carbs on a bike that’s long overdue for some love. Getting Dad’s old 175 running again and cutting laps on it just like he used to.
And if you didn’t bring an old bike this year, I guarantee you left wondering what you’re bringing next year. 😉
Nothing serious. No egos. Just a beautiful fall day in Iowa, good people, old bikes, and the perfect reminder of what moto is supposed to be all about.

What a perfect way to end the season here at Oak Ridge.
I’m incredibly grateful for the crew that continues to show up, work hard, and absolutely KILL IT. We’ve put in a lot of work and learned a lot over the years, but we stick together, figure it out, and make things happen.
I’m proud to be surrounded by so many talented people, and I’ll always cherish the friendships and relationships that have grown from a little pasture in the middle of Iowa.
Thank you to everyone who came out, turned laps, shared stories, and helped make this event what it was. And a huge thank-you to Red Bull, Carson and Sam, Black and Tan, Justin Brayton, Kevin Kelly, and everyone behind the scenes who helped make it happen.
