Huge thank you to Boost Brothers Garagefor putting this together!

They downloaded the VIR Grand East Course in Forza, giving our 944Fest HPDE drivers a chance to get a look at the layout before we hit the real thing in September.

The Grand East configuration isn’t something most drivers get to experience ever. So having a way to start learning the corners, transitions, and general flow ahead of time is incredibly useful.

Thank you, Boost Bros Garage, for taking the time to make this for the 944Fest community. 🏁

Every 944 has a sound it makes when the torque tube bearings start to go. You know the one. That hum and vibrations from somewhere under the car. You turn up the radio and try to ignore it because you know exactly what the fix involves, and you're not ready to have that conversation.

The folks at Black Sea R&D are ready when you are. They've spent twenty years rebuilding Porsche torque tubes, every one Porsche ever made, 959 included. Their Super Bearings and Enhanced Drive Shafts ride in everything from Porsche Classic Center restorations and Singer builds to home-garage V8 swaps, all of it made in the USA.

They'll be set up in The Gallery all weekend, and they're stacking the door prize table: one winner takes home an Enhanced Drive Shaft with a full set of Super Bearings, and a second winner gets a full set of Super Bearings for their own rebuild. So stop by and tell them about that hum. They've heard it before and they can help you fix it for good.

Boost Brothers Garage will be adding one of their revised geometry rear suspension setups to the door prize table at 944Fest. This is a complete torsion bar carrier built to fit on any 944 or 968 chassis. It corrects the rear suspension geometry on lowered cars.

1993 Porsche 968 Turbo RS "Bubbles"

Born in Weissach in 1992, the prototype yielded just three siblings in 1993.

Despite the friendly name, Bubbles is anything but soft. The Turbo RS represented the extreme end of Porsche's transaxle development. The front-engine transaxle platform, turbocharged power, less weight, more aggression, one serious purpose.

Thirty-three years later, you don't often get the chance to see one of these cars at all.

What started as a few old bowling pins quickly transformed into a group of Porsche-fied sexy GoKart Enduro trophies for this year's 944Fest winning team. Big thanks to Dan Jauch for rising to the task in spectacular fashion, as always.

Next month, a lucky team will take these home after a grueling night of wheel-to-wheel Karting action.
