Southland Car Club

Southland Car Club Our Club meets once a month to socialize, eat and just have a great time We participate in several car shows in and around Johnston County.

Southland Car Club of Smithfield, NC, is dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and enjoyment of all makes and models of Antique, Classic, and Special Interest vehicles. We also have a car show at least once during the year. Over the years the car club has given unmeasurable enjoyment to it's members and participants and spectators of the car shows, but in addition and probably most importantly is its contributions to the community. We make contributions to neighboring Rescue Squads, Relay for Life (Cancer), College Scholarships, High School Scholarships and neighbors in need. We have also contributed to the American Red Cross, Church Memorials, SPCA, Hospice, Tsunami, USO & RDU. From 1999--2008 the club made a total of $15,122.00 worth of Contributions to the community.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of club member Andy Anders. On Saturday, Sep 26th, anyone who would like to attend the memorial service; we will meet in Selma at JR’s (Food Hall) at 1230-1pm and then head out by way of Brogden Road. It’s a 26 mile ride and should be around 45 minutes to get there.

There is no rain date for our show tomorrow, it's a "rain or shine" event. But the good news is the forecast shows some rain early in the morning then clearing between 7am and 8am and then nice clear skies the rest of the day.

We hope to see you out there! Again, we have been asked this multiple times, this show is open to all makes and models. Southland has always run our shows this way. American, foreign, classic, late model, etc, you are welcome to bring out ride.
