Yesterday was certainly a tow-rific Tuesday here at HVAI. First we bid temporary adieu to this 1937 Dodge D5 sedan. We gutted the interior and shipped it out for the necessary body work. Once it’s done there, we will get it back and lovingly restore the interior to its original glory.
Nothing exists in a vacuum: the 1965 Lincoln Continental finally made its reappearance! It’s been at the mechanic for months, and we were happy to get it back for the rest of the interior work it needs. We will be installing a new convertible top and carpets, and executing the final assembly for the seats and door panels that we restored last spring. We’re excited to start this next phase for this ongoing project!
We also installed a new convertible top on an Audi TT, and one of our great customers stopped by in his 1948 Chevy Fleetmaster for a fitting for his new driver’s door panel. In between all of this action, Greg somehow found the time to continue sewing cognac leather Mercedes 280 SL seat covers for one of our ongoing restorations.
There’s rarely a dull moment here at Hudson Valley Auto Interiors.

We just finished a full interior overhaul on this 1994 BMW 325i! We sewed and installed new leather seat covers, fabricated and installed leather door panels, installed new carpeting and a new top boot. We think the before & afters are pretty dramatic.

Happy Monday morning! This 1965 Lincoln Continental convertible had been neglected for decades before finding an owner who wanted to bring her back to life. This year, we restored the seats and door panels to pristine condition. We'll post more photos when this car comes back to us for more work, after the mechanic is finished with it. We know the new owner will get a lot of enjoyment from this gem!
