Making more progress this thing will breathe nicely and look amazing. Thanks to for the go fast parts. To top off that engine is a brand new in box valve cover purchased years ago before they were all gone.

Made some good progress last week unfortunately I had to send more stuff out for plating so there will be a couple week delay on finishing this engine. But we will keep going with what we have and getting the rest assembled while we wait.

People don't always understand the investment of time and money to do what I do. I have spent the last 5 hours just going through my cases of bolts and boxes of bracket in order to get all the hardware and brackets ready to install this front timing cover on this . This time is only spent going through stuff I have already spent the time and money plating and sorting into cases as you see on the last pic. This takes a lot of time and time is 💰. But the end result in my opinion is always worth the investment to ha e an engine look brand as it would've in 1987.

Sometimes you have to make a mess to make something beautiful again. Making progress getting everything ready for reassembly of this engine number repainted white. Block repainted black all new freeze plugs all parts plated and tumbled to look just like new parts. Now that everythi g is found and ready I can start the reassembly process.

Some seat work today time for sone new heating pads. I added heating pads years ago but as you can see the pad shorted and started to burn. I installed new pads on the backrest and seat bottom then added side bolster heating pads all parts sourced from a r129 and the seats originally came from a Evo 10. Added bonus the side bolster pads have 1 inch thick foam so it should help give me better seat fitment in the corners.

Getting a little work done on this beauty today can't wait to get it all dialed in this winter so I can finally enjoy and test out this amazing suspension and brake combo. Should be interesting to say the least. C36 engine is behind the power with full intrax coilovers with a limited slip. Brakes are clk63 front 360mm and rear 330mm all factory parts minus a front caliper bracket that makes.

Got some snow last night after rain and thanks to check out the beading from this ceramic coating though the water droplets turned to ice.
