🚗💨 When Was the Last Time You Changed Your Air Filter?

If you live or drive in a smoky environment, your vehicle’s air filters can get dirty much faster than you might expect.

Wildfire smoke, dust, dirt, and other airborne particles can clog your engine air filter and cabin air filter, making your vehicle work harder and potentially affecting airflow and air quality inside the cabin.

🌲🔥 If you’ve been driving through smoky conditions lately, it’s a great time to have those filters checked!

A quick filter inspection can help:
✅ Keep your engine breathing properly
✅ Maintain good airflow through your A/C and heater
✅ Improve cabin air quality
✅ Keep excessive dirt and debris out of your vehicle’s systems

Not sure when your filters were last replaced? Let Bob’s Auto Repair of Boise take a look!

📍 A little maintenance now can help keep your vehicle running—and breathing—better. 🔧

🌎🚗 Planning a road trip?

You’ve got your checklist ready—clothes, reservations, maps, and plenty of snacks. But have you checked the most important thing on the trip?

Your vehicle.

Before you hit the road, schedule a pre-trip inspection 1–2 weeks in advance. This gives you enough time to address any maintenance or repair needs before your adventure begins.

The last thing you want is to be hundreds of miles from home and discover your brakes are worn out, your tires need attention, or a small issue has turned into a major problem.

A little preparation can help you avoid unexpected breakdowns, costly repairs, and interruptions to your vacation.

✅ Check your brakes
✅ Inspect your tires
✅ Test your battery
✅ Check fluid levels
✅ Make sure all maintenance is up to date

At Bob’s Auto Repair of Boise, we’ll help make sure your vehicle is road-trip ready so you can focus on making memories, not dealing with car trouble.

Where is your next road trip taking you? Tell us in the comments! 👇🏔️🌊🛣️

☀️❄️ Is Your A/C Ready for Summer? ❄️☀️

Nothing ruins a summer drive faster than an air conditioner that blows warm air.

If your vehicle’s A/C isn’t keeping you cool, now is the perfect time to have it checked before the hottest days of the year arrive. Small issues can quickly turn into costly repairs if left untreated.

Signs your A/C may need service:
✅ Air isn’t as cold as it used to be
✅ Weak airflow from the vents
✅ Strange odors when the A/C is running
✅ Unusual noises when the system is on
✅ A/C only cools while driving

At Bob’s Auto Repair of Boise, we can inspect your A/C system, check refrigerant levels, and help keep you comfortable all summer long.

Don’t wait until you’re stuck in traffic on a 100° day wishing you had it checked sooner!

📞 Schedule your A/C service today and stay cool wherever the road takes you.

How important is cold A/C to you on a scale of 1-10? Let us know in the comments! 🚗💨❄️
