Auto Technician Job Opening – $35–$40/hr Flat Rate
We’re hiring! Join our family-owned repair shop and enjoy competitive pay, a supportive environment, and a real work-life balance.

📌 Job Details:
Full-time LEAD automotive technician position
$35–$40 per flat rate hour (depending on experience)
Monday–Friday schedule — no nights or weekends
Closed on major holidays
Free lunch provided every day
Family-owned and operated shop with a positive, team-first culture
Location: Garden City, ID

🔧 Job Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair various domestic, Asian, and European vehicles
Perform scheduled maintenance (oil changes, inspections, fluid services)
Conduct brake repairs (pads, rotors, calipers, lines)
Handle tire rotations, balancing, and replacements
Repair and replace steering and suspension components
Perform engine and transmission diagnostics and repairs
Use advanced scan tools and diagnostic equipment
Install GPS tracking units and other electronic components
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Communicate clearly with team members and service writers

✅ Required Skills & Qualifications:
MINIMUM 5 years experience in a professional repair shop
Strong diagnostics and troubleshooting abilities
Ability to perform both mechanical and electrical repairs
Must provide your own tools
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Comfortable working on a wide variety of makes and models
Able to work independently and as part of a team
ASE Certification preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail and quality of work
