Combs Automotive Combs Automotive in Gansevoort is owned by Chris Combs, He has been in business since 2007. We provide services and repairs on all makes and models.

Chris has loved working on cars ever since he was young and used to help out his father. He attended HVCC and got a degree in Automotive Technology. Working on cars is his passion, his mother used to put him in the back of a mustang when he was a baby to get him to sleep, this might be where his love of mustangs come from! (haha)
His favorite thing about working on cars is the ever changing technology. This is why he attends training throughout the year to keep up to date with current vehicles. Alright, who was able to make it out to the Balloon Fest this weekend?

We took my mom and aunt along this year since they had never seen a hot air balloon up close. Chris and I have always loved watching the balloons go up, picking our favorite, and then chasing them around to see where they’ll land. It’s become one of our favorite little traditions!

But this time, we got to give Mom and Auntie the full VIP experience! They were both so giddy, like little kids, watching the balloons come down and land right in front of us. Seeing their excitement made the whole experience even more special.

How many of you got it right?!

That noise is your vehicle’s warning that it’s time to have your brakes checked and likely changed soon.

Once your brake pads wear completely down and go metal-to-metal, you risk turning a brake job into a much more expensive repair. You can also cause damage to other braking components.

Twenty-five years later, we still remember.

I was in my high school photography class back home in Baltimore, and Chris was in his first year of college in Troy. We can both still remember that day so clearly. It was almost as if time stood still.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001. We honor the first responders who ran toward danger, the service members who answered the call, and the families whose lives were forever changed that day.

The legacy of 9/11 lives not only in remembrance, but also in the generations of Americans who chose service, sacrifice, and commitment to something greater than themselves.

Today, we honor the fallen.
We honor those who responded in our nation's darkest hours.
We honor the families who continue to carry their loss.

I know we still have a few warm days ahead of us, but I couldn’t help myself when I found these cute little fall decorations for my desk!

Now I’m on a mission… I’m hoping to have the Combs Automotive office fully decorated for fall over the next few weeks.

Because if I have to spend my days at the shop, I might as well make it cute, right?! 😂

Well, the kids are back to school… which means parents everywhere are celebrating with a mixture of excitement, exhaustion, and “WAIT… WE FORGOT TO BUY THAT!”

While the kids are learning their ABCs and 123s, we're here at Combs Automotive making sure Mom and Dad's vehicles are ready for another school year of:
