🐾 Reminder: Combs Automotive is closed today as Chris and I are taking our cat to a veterinary neurologist appointment.

Honestly, who knew there were neurologists for animals? We’re hopeful this specialist can help us get some answers and figure out what’s been going on with our little buddy.

☀️🥵 These hot summer days are a great reminder of how important a properly working A/C system is!

Pete brought his Subaru to Combs Automotive because the air conditioning wasn't keeping up, and he was hearing a noise coming from under the hood. After diagnosing the issue, Chris found the culprit, a failing A/C compressor and discovered the system was also low on refrigerant.

We installed a new compressor, evacuated and recharged the A/C system to the proper capacity, and tested everything to make sure it was performing as it should.

❄️ A properly functioning automotive A/C system should blow air that's about 30°F colder than the outside temperature. Pete's Subaru was right on the money! Sitting in that nice, cold A/C felt a whole lot better than standing in our warm shop.

Pete is back on the road staying cool, and we're glad we could help!

🌤️ Take advantage of these cooler morning temperatures while they last! Jax sure is, there’s nothing he loves more than sticking his head out the window on the ride to work. 🐾🚗

A small part can cause a big problem! Today Chris replaced the radiator cap on this Chrysler after coolant was leaking past the worn-out seal on the old cap.

Your cooling system relies on that cap to hold proper pressure, so when the seal wears out, it can lead to leaks and overheating. If you notice coolant under your vehicle or your temperature gauge creeping up, give us a call!
