Had an interesting sunset excursion tonight.
Mr. Salih and his family, devout Muslims, held their sunset prayers aboard the TSC Jeanne Marie. It’s a first for us and we are very happy we could accommodate them. Hope to see them again.

Had to postpone the Galveston College Intro to Sailing Level II course today until July 19th. “Some days there just ain’t no wind.”

Also scheduled for June 19th is an Advanced Sailing Seminar on Docking and Anchoring. This class is still open. Register at GC.edu/CE. 10-2.

Great Art Walk in Galveston last night. Saw lots of friend and neighbors out and about. We weren’t on the boat but I did have a Galveston College Intro to Sailing Course earlier so it wasn’t a bad day. Plus went to our friends Jillian’s and Wendy’s wedding in the afternoon. Added in our friends from Connecticut, Jamie and Helen have been staying with us for a few days. Busy but fun.
