Prayer
know, Lord,
that You have chosen me to be your disciple. You did not choose me because of anything good you saw in me but purely in grace for your sovereign purposes. Whatever my failings, I take comfort in knowing that the Apostles failed also at first but that You ultimately worked mightily through them. You can do the same with all of Your children.
Amen.
