Lake Viking Marine is a proud member of the Marine Sales Group, offering new boats from Cobalt Boats, Yamaha Jet Boats, Barletta Boats, Sportsman Boats, and Yamaha Personal Watercraft. We also carry a wide variety of pre-owned boats, including Sea Ray, Chaparral, Regal, Crownline, Bennington, Premier, Manitou, and many other popular brands. Whether new or used, we ensure your boat is 100% ready to go when you are. Located just north of Kansas City, Missouri, off I-35 on Lake Viking, we serve local customers in the Kansas City area and welcome clients from as far as Des Moines, Wichita, Manhattan, and Topeka. Our certified technicians specialize in Volvo Penta, Mercruiser, Yamaha, and Evinrude services, with every boat undergoing a real-world, on-the-water test before it leaves our shop. Our History
Lake Viking Marine’s foundation was laid by Randy Tague’s father, Larry Tague. Larry started as a mechanic at Tate Marine in 1970 and worked his way through the industry, becoming the owner in 1988. Randy had the privilege of growing up alongside Larry, learning the value of hard work and exceptional customer service. Randy began his own career at Lake Viking Marine in 1996 as a mechanic and service manager. He quickly learned that providing outstanding customer service isn’t always easy, but it’s essential. Randy leaned heavily on Larry’s guidance, and together they built a reputation for doing things the right way. Today, Randy leads the team with a customer-first philosophy.
