🚨PLEASE READ - THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE🚨
This is NOT okay. Our employees physically handle your bags and containers to throw your trash into the trucks. That means anything loose or improperly contained can seriously injure someone.
The images below are broken glass shards sticking through the bag. This could have been a trip to the Emergancy Room, had the glass cut through one of my employees hands or arms.

⚠ PLEASE DO THIS ⚠
If you are throwing away broken glass, kitchen knives, razor-sharp metal, or anything else that can cut or puncture someone, please:
📦Place it inside a sturdy cardboard box.
📦Tape the box completely shut.
📦Make sure nothing can break through or spill out.
PLEASE DO NOT simply put sharp objects loose inside a bag.

Our request isn't unreasonable. We're asking you to take a few extra minutes to package dangerous items so that the person handling your trash can do their job and return home safely.
